In this context, structured integration of scientific knowledge into international relations becomes a determining condition for crafting effective and legitimate collective responses. This Policy Brief examines the capacity of Moroccan universities to embed themselves durably in this dynamic — beyond their traditional academic function — to assume an active role in producing expertise that can serve Morocco's external action.

Strengthening Climate Finance for Loss and Damage in the Mediterranean Region

The impacts of climate change are increasingly manifesting through severe and multifaceted loss and damage, particularly across vulnerable regions such as the Mediterranean. These impacts extend beyond environmental degradation, contributing to forced displacement, food insecurity, political instability, and the erosion of human rights and dignity. This policy brief offers a strategic set of recommendations to address the complex dimensions of climate-induced loss and damage in the Mediterranean region, synthesising key insights from the October 2024 SPP-C × P2A webinar on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG).
